LAMBRETTA Another of the many mopeds to be fitted with pivoted-fork rear springing is the stylish 48 c.c. Lambretta. A pressed-steel beam type frame is employed and the machine has a leading-link front fork. The neat two-stroke engine is in unit with a two-speed gear box, twistgrip controlled. Front and rear brakes are of internal expanding pattern. Detail refinements include a parcel carrier mounted above the C-section rear mudguard and an electric horn.
