65 c.c. Bore 44 mm. Stroke 42 mm. Overhead valve, air cooled single cylinder. Output 2.8 b.h.p. at 5,200 r.p.m. Bearings, heavy duty ball race with high reserve safety factor. Cylinder liner, cast iron—centrifugally cast for close grain giving hard wearing properties. Compression ratio 7.5:1.

GEAR BOX:

Two speed constant mesh—integral with engine sump and having a common oil level. Gear change by hand control on handlebars.

DUNELT

Latest addition to the list of mopeds on the British marker is the fully sprung Dunelt. Springing is by a telescopic front fork and pivoted rear fork. Full-width hubs house 4in-diameter brakes.

Orthodox practice is followed in the use of a REX 49 cc. two stroke, two-speed engine-gear unit with twistgrip car control. Lighting coils are incorporated in the flywheel magneto. Capacity of the petroil tank is 10 pints.
