Lefstads Sykkelfabrikk (bicycle factory) Trondheim. Founder was

Johan Lefstad 1892, the first bicycles were imported but later, round the 20-ies the factory produced their own bicycle named NIDAROS (the production ended at the 60-ies). The first NIDAROS moped had a Sachs engine (Germany), the frame were possibly imported from Swedish Monark or NV, it looked like TEMPO Handy but had smaller wheels and different front fork.

The NIDAROS MOPED on this page was produced between 1956-58, the frame, tank mm were bought from Nyman - Crescent in Sweden, who produced a similar model: Mod. NV 2000 with SACHS engine.

Lefstad used a Zündapp mod 255 engine on their moped (license produced by RAUFOSS).

Lefstad sold TEMPO mopeds under the name of Tambar. Lefstad Sport also sold Raufoss mopeds a period.

Olympic: Axel Bruun Trondheim sold Øglænd bicycles, moped's and motorcycles under the name Olympic. For a period the mopeds were mounted at their own bicycle factory.

Sprint: Lønne i Sandefjord. Tempo Victoria was sold under the name "Sprint" (ca.1953).

Svithun: Maskinhuset Stavanger. Produced mopeds to the seventy's.

Tambar: Lefstad Sport, Trondheim. Production of their own moped Nidaros (late fifty's). Lefstad Sport also sold Raufoss mopeds a period.

Produsert av LEFSTADS SYKKELFABRIKK, Trondheim fra 1956-58.

Rammedelene, tank og skjermer ble kjøpt fra Nyman - Fabrikken, Sverige. Sveising, montering og lakkering ble utført hos Lefstad. Egne dekaler og merker ble produsert. 

Motor: 50 ccm. to-takt 255 Zündapp motor, 2.2 hk. 2 gir, kickstart, lisensprodusert  fra RAUFOSS. 

Bensintank: 5.5 liter inkl. reserve 0.5 liter.

Dekk: 20 x 2½. 

Svinghjulsmagnet, 6 v. - 17 w. Behaglig fjæring foran og bak. 

Innbygd lyskaster. Verktysrøm under sadlen. 

Ekstra god avskjerming foran og bak. Skvettskjerm for knærne. 

Samme Fabrikk leverer en moped-scooter med Sachsmotor.
